This landscaping for this 25 story office building was completed in 2009. The project is located at the intersection of 5th Street and Capitol Mall.

The landscape areas are entirely drip irrigated, including the turf areas. This highly efficient irrigation system significantly reduces water use. A self-flushing filter and a fertilizer injector are installed to simplify maintenance.

Newly installed plants along the south and west sides of the building include Ginko Trees, Feather Grass, and Creeping Thyme.

Eastern Planter

The shaded eastern planter buffers the new building from the alley and adjacent parking garage. Japanese Maples and Evergreen Pears will fit well in the narrow planter space as they mature.
